Duane Wong
Lead Inspector
Duane Richard Wong is our lead inspector and has been a professional property inspector since 2007. He has completed thousands of inspections all over the island of Oahu. He has inspected just about every type of home there is here in Hawai‘i Nei. This gives him the uncommon ability to provide his clients the perspective and education that is critical for buyer’s understanding of the home they are purchasing. Duane has an excellent rapport with his clients and their agents and delivers information in an easy, unassuming way that makes the findings easy to understand and opens the way for questions. Duane’s experience and style is a winning combination and makes him a real asset to our company and the industry as a whole.
When Duane’s not inspecting houses and condos, he loves to spend time with his wife and two children. He loves fishing, friends and football… Please just don’t ask him any questions about the New England Patriots!!
Here’s what client’s and Realtors are saying about Duane…
“For my first home inspection, Richard (Duane) was referred to me by my sister n law. Richard (Duane) did an awesome job, he was very professional and punctual. He explained all the aspects of the home inspection and showed personal concern for certain areas that needed attending to. The report was detailed and very easy to read and understand. Richard said the inspection was only going to be 2hrs but since he took extra Time to walk us through the report. I recommend Richard (Duane) and the company he represents.”
“My husband and I have been going through the process of getting our first home. The stress that goes along with home buying can make a person pick and choose the first people they see that can get the job done. In this case we so happened to choose Architect Home Inspection and Richard conducted our inspection. My father-in-law is a government building inspector so we called him the same morning prior to the inspection to gather questions we would want to ask about the house. Arriving a little early the inspector finished gathering data and putting together the walk through report. Richard (Duane) went through every single question we had and then some. He was very thorough in explaining issues while keeping the technical jargon out of his sentences. I was impressed that the inspector was able to look through our 1,400 sqft future condo in 2 hours while providing a 20 page thorough report at the end of the inspection with pictures included. We got a binder with the report, a usb for access to the report through the computer, and a free app for a year that allows you to ask any home issue question and receive answers from professionals in 15-20 mins. I would definitely recommend this company to future homeowners who are trying to get home inspections without the stress of wondering if the inspectors were thorough enough. Believe me, you won’t disappointed!”
“EXCELLENT! Duane Wong, our home inspector, was professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and great with my clients. Being that my client is a first time home buyer, there were a lot of questions but Duane was kind enough to share his wealth of knowledge with us and put my client at ease in moving forward with the purchase of his first condo. Highly recommend Duane and Architech Inspection Systems.”
“Very professional, you know Duane put a lot of time into his work.
Felt comfortable working with him. Did a great job. I would definitely use them again.”
“He found all the things I didn’t know to look for! Educated me in the best things to look for! Suggested how to fix/make better what I have! And gave me professional contacts to use if I need future work done on my home AND put it all in a neat folder and on a flash drive so I can refer to his wisdom in a fast/organized fashion!!!”
